Anthony David Gonzalez played American football for 17 seasons, as tight-ends within the National Football League. He is considered to be one of the top American tight ends of all time He has the NFL record for most receiving yards among all tight ends. He also ranks as the third-highest player in terms of number of receptions.
Tony Gonzalez, former All-Pro tight-end for the Kansas City Chiefs as well as Atlanta Falcons, is currently working in FOX's Studio. Gonzalez is on FOX NFL KICKOFF since this past season, serves as host of the program. It airs every Sunday, at 11:00 AM ET prior to FOX NFL SUNDAY.
Gonzalez, who had said his retirement was scheduled for the final week of the 2013's season, voted on March 15 to sign a 2-year, $14million contract to remain in the Falcons. Randy Moss' retirement meant that Gonzalez was the NFL's leader of active receiving yards for the last time during his playing career.
